The dramatic transformation of this shopping center underscores the important role garden-style design and detail-oriented landscape architecture play in establishing a connection between people and place.

The property owners had a vision for Montgomery County’s newest all-inclusive neighborhood, of a botanically-rich urban atmosphere.  C+RLA answered with a campus-like master plan rich in connected pedestrian spaces and filled with visual and practical interests.  Scale-appropriate outdoor rooms, plazas, and terraces offer lushly planted gardens, decorative water fountains, dramatic lighting, comfortable furniture, shaded seating, kids play, and seasonal flourishes to bring this vision to life.

The project received LEED ND Stage 3 Gold Certificate for its achievements in sustainable energy.
