"I want to thank her for entering my life and for teaching me so much about design, plants, soil, communication, toughness, boldness, art, and now business. She’s taught me how to be a stronger woman, a leader, and to follow my dreams. I know she will always have my back and I hope one day I can pass along what she’s given to me to another 30- something bright eyed person who walks in the door with big hopes, dreams and a lot of bravery."

Awards
Founding Principal, Sandra Clinton, is an accomplished landscape architect and horticulturist with over thirty-five years of experience in retail, commercial, institutional, and private residential design realms. Her firm has won countless awards for their innovative work, acute understanding of outdoor scale, and extraordinary expertise and approach to planting design. Utilizing sustainable practices, Sandy integrates her love of pattern, texture, and color and her passion for plants with her innate talents as a designer of dramatic, contemporary landscapes.

Since 1998, Sandy has built meaningful landscapes and long-term client relationships. Her work is strongly influenced by her long friendships with the late Brazilian landscape architect, Roberto Burle Marx, and Philadelphia-based, Conrad Hamerman. Echoes of these influential designers and mentors show up in the boldly textured hardscapes and planterly approaches she expresses in each design.

A Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Sandy was recently awarded the prestigious Landscape Design Award from the American Horticultural Society. Always up for an adventure, Sandy travels the world seeking inspiration and innovation that are often found braided into the work of the firm.
