PENPLACE
(UNBUILT WORKS)
As part of a larger Pentagon City redevelopment project, PenPlace was conceived as a civic plaza for all. Outdoor cafes, exercise areas, gurgling fountains, shaded seating areas, groves of beautiful multi-stem trees, overhead arbors, and dramatic paving at the ground, this open space is surrounded with new residential living towers on a 9-acre property.

Additionally, rooftops of the adjacent residential structures offer swimming pools, fireplaces, grill stations, and lawn space for outdoor movie nights, community-wide gathering, and entertainment. Wide sidewalks, large street trees, arbor covered café seating, and movable seating give flexibility to all that visit.
