DARIEN COMMONS

A new mixed-use development in the heart of Darien, Connecticut gives residents an inviting, lush series of outdoor spaces to enjoy. The property was transformed into a newly renovated and retrofitted retail center with ample restaurants, shops, fitness center, and housing all surrounded by tree-lined streetscapes, a pocket park, plazas, and rooftop amenity spaces for residents.

C+RLA worked with the master planning team and architects to realize the property into what community members are flocking to. All materials in the landscape were drawn from the natural vernacular of CT allowing for this new development to feel established in the Town. The unique furnishings and lighting throughout Darien Commons create a sense of place.
