Register Now to join Sandra Clinton, Dan Cook, and Mickey Papillon to explore the dramatic rebirth of the Pike & Rose shopping center, which underscores the important role horticulturally rich and site-specific detail-oriented landscape architecture plays in establishing a connection between people, place, and nature.
The property owners, Federal Realty Investment Trust, had a vision for what this former strip shopping center could be transformed into: a botanically-rich urban atmosphere for people to eat, play, work, and live, all surrounded by natural beauty. Clinton+Ries Landscape Architects answered with a campus-like master plan centered on connected pedestrian spaces and filled with art, restaurants, greenspaces, and more.
Sandra Clinton is an accomplished landscape architect and horticulturist with over 35 years of practical experience in retail, commercial, institutional, and private residential realms.
